Escort Driver
$100 per course
Eight (8) hour course offered on the second Saturday of the month. Additional students are $75 per student for a scheduled corporate class. Please call for scheduling.
The Escort Driver course provides specific education and training for individuals interested in employment as an escort driver. To qualify for this course, a student must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid Virginia driver’s license or a valid driver’s license for another state.
Additional qualifications are required for earning the certification. Please be aware of these additional qualifications and reference Title 46.2. Motor Vehicles, Chapter 29, Certified Escort Vehicle Drivers § 46.2-2906.
Individuals who apply for an escort vehicle driver certificate under § 46.2-2906 and fails the knowledge test three times are eligible for retesting after 30 days.
